I have the fondest memories of summers spent, with my extended family, on the beaches of the Outer Banks. It's always been one of my favorite places in the world, and I love sharing it with my clients!


Over the past 9 years, I've had the pleasure of working with all different types of families. Some have the same tradition of visiting for decades, and others decided to try a new spot for the first time- both are so special and I love hearing about all the memories made together!


I'm lucky enough to live just 90 minutes North of Kitty Hawk, and can't think of a better commute on a golden summer day!

What about the weather?


For all my OBX sessions, I hold two days on my calendar. Then, as we get closer to your vacation week, and I have a better idea of the forecast, we pick the best date based on the weather.


Flexibility on those two days is key, and as long as we have that, we are good to go! I am VERY familiar with how quickly storms can move in and out of the area, and I'm able to time them pretty well after years of practice. It's my job to help guide you in choosing the most desirable day for your session, and it's yours to trust me!

Pricing Guide



It's as easy as 1 - 2 - 3 . . .


1. I have a $200, non-refundable, deposit for all OBX

sessions. This reserves both agreed upon dates

(due at booking).


2. My travel fee for Kill Devil Hills, Kitty Hawk, and

Nags Head is $175. Duck, Corolla and Manteo

is $225 (due within 24 hours of session).


3. The remaining session balance, good for up to 10

people*, is $700 weekday and $850 weekend (due

within 24 hours of session). *Additional family

members may be added for $25 per person- I've had

groups as large as 35!

What's Included?


. . .Other than some of the best entertainment you'll have during your vacation (I may or may not think I'm at a comedy bar's open mic night during sessions...sorry-ish)?!


  • Up to 90 minutes of shooting time- typically "golden hour"
  • All the best edited digitals, delivered via an online gallery, and the ease of simply sharing a link with everyone in your group!
  • A sneak peek within 48 hours and full gallery delivery within 2 weeks!
  • Printing rights to use the images however you wish, as well as the convenience of your gallery doubling as a print store for easy ordering of professional lab prints!


A few more things...


  • Families are welcome to divide our time however they like! My typical workflow is to get a big group shot, and then I break off subsets (grandparents and grandkids, cousins, individual families, water play at the end, etc).
  • If you're worried about a little one's bedtime, since summer sunsets are around 8 PM, I am more than happy to offer some tips and words of reassurance- like, you're on vacation and they're not going to sleep anyway! (See, a true comic, I tell ya!)
  • Just remember you're on vacation and kids (and husbands alike!) are always happier by water and better behaved for other people!
